What happened
SNAG's "Art School of Berkshires" = Berkshire Art Center (formerly IS183 Art School of the Berkshires), a real nonprofit community art school est. 1991 in Stockbridge/Pittsfield, MA; live site, Spring 2026 catalog announced. Offers JEWELRY classes (recurring "Jewelry" category; past: Intro to Jewelry Making — chainmaille/polymer-clay/beaded w/ Sammy Lefenfeld; Spring 2026: "Joyful Jewelry Studio" w/ Kim Waterman) — but these are craft/intro jewelry, NOT metalsmithing/silversmithing/soldering/enameling studio instruction. No dedicated metals program or metals faculty. Counts as teaches-jewelry per craft-center rule, but borderline for a serious-metals directory. Faculty left empty: instructors found teach craft jewelry, not metals, so not listed as metals faculty.
