What happened
The "Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association" now operates as the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) — a rename/rebrand of the same nonprofit (founded 1957) in Birmingham, MI. The jewelry/metals program continues uninterrupted: its studio was renovated and reopened in late September 2014 (funded by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs plus donors), enabling access for students with special needs. Classes run continuously through 2025–2026. Leadership of the Jewelry/Metals Department is now Robin Servo (20+ years at BBAC); the archived faculty member Robert C. Fisher is no longer listed anywhere. Other current metals instructors include Nancy Clark, Janice Degen, Darlene Earls, and Mary Kernahan.
