What happened
The archived record's only program anchor was Dr. Helen Bonzelaar ("1967 to present"), the faculty member associated with metals/jewelry. She is now listed as Professor Emerita (retired) in Calvin's directory. The institution was renamed Calvin College → Calvin University (2019). The art department continues as Art and Design, but its current Studio Art curriculum lists no metals/jewelry/metalsmithing — that area appears to have ended with Bonzelaar's retirement and was not continued. No evidence of a successor metals program, faculty line, or studio.
