What happened
Continuation with growth, not closure/merger/rename. The archived faculty record (Kathleen Malec Kamal, 1994 to present) maps to the same person who now teaches as Kathleen Kamal Baum — still active faculty, consistent ~25-year tenure. Since ~2014 the program has continued under her and added/formalized a CAD-CAM track (ART 2254 CAD 3D Modeling for Jewelry plus 3D modeling/printing in the casting course) and a campus Digital Fabrication Studio. The only "change" is the instructor's surname (Malec/Kamal -> Kamal Baum); the program itself persists within the Art program / Arts, Communication and Hospitality Division.
