What happened
Continuation with leadership change. The program remains fully active since ~2014. The archived-record faculty (Nilda Getty, who taught metalsmithing in CSU's Art Department; David La Plantz; Bruce Metcalf) reflect the program's earlier history; current leadership is Haley Bates, Professor of Metalsmithing. The Metals Guild of CSU has been a student/professional engagement body since 2004. No evidence of closure, merger, or renaming.
