What happened
Real nonprofit 3D-arts center in South Bend, IN (founded 2004, 8,000 sq ft, East Race district); current 2026 class schedule live so clearly operating. Lists jewelry as one of three core disciplines (sculpture/pottery/jewelry) and has resident jewelers (Doug Kile, Jacqueline Carlson). Current class offerings are pottery + lampwork/glass-bead jewelry-making (instructor Diane Gram), NOT rigorous metalsmithing/silversmithing/CAD/enameling — jewelry instruction is glass-bead-oriented. No confirmed current metals faculty found, so faculty left empty. A community art-association borderline fit for a serious-metals directory.
