What happened
Public community college in Kalispell, MT with an active art department. Currently teaches a full ARTJ jewelry/metals sequence: Jewelry & Metalsmithing I-IV, Forging & Smithing, 3D Jewelry Design & Modeling (CAD-CAM) I-IV, Wax Modeling & Casting, Stone Setting, Surface Embellishments, Jewelry Repair. Spring 2026 schedule confirms live offerings (ARTJ 213, 234, 261, 280) taught by M. Herriges and C. Flowers. NOTE: the dedicated Goldsmithing and 3D Jewelry Design AAS/CAS degree+certificate are currently on moratorium (not accepting new students), but the courses themselves are actively scheduled.
