Rowan University — Jewelry & Metals (Art Department, College of the Arts)

What happened
The institution was renamed, not the program closed. Glassboro State College was renamed Rowan College of New Jersey in 1992 following Henry Rowan's gift and became Rowan University in 1997 — well before the directory went offline. The jewelry/metals program continued through this transition and remains an active studio concentration. Since ~2014 it has continued as the "Jewelry & Metals" BFA area of study within the Art Department; the institutional moves were the campus-wide College of the Arts / Ric Edelman College reorganizations and web migration (the program page moved from ccca.rowan.edu to rowan.edu/arts), with no closure of the metals program. Long-time faculty Maureen Duffy continues to anchor the area.
