What happened
No discrete metals/jewelry/metalsmithing program exists at ICC today, and there is no evidence one survived past the early-1990s window implied by the archived record. The archived directory tied the "program" to a single faculty member (Candace Gerbers Brey, listed 1990–1993), which suggests metals/jewelry was, at most, a short-lived course taught within the general art curriculum rather than a standing degree program. Today ICC's art offering is consolidated into one transfer credential (Associate in Arts, Art), and the current published ART studio curriculum (2D Design ART 111, 3D Design ART 121, Sculpture ART 131, Printmaking ART 141, Art Appreciation ART 110) contains no jewelry, metals, metalsmithing, goldsmithing, silversmithing, or enameling course. So the metals offering appears to have been discontinued long ago (effectively absorbed into general 3D/sculpture instruction); there is no standalone successor.
