What happened
The program has continued without closure, merger, or renaming. The institution's full name is now "Massachusetts College of Art and Design" (MassArt). Since ~2014 the most notable change is faculty turnover: Joseph Wood (archived as "1986 to present") is no longer listed as core/tenure-line J&M faculty — he now appears only as a Visiting Lecturer in directory listings. Emily Cobb has become the principal Associate Professor in Jewelry & Metalsmithing, bringing a digital-fabrication / CAD-CAM emphasis. Visiting lecturers (Venetia Dale, Joyce Kutty) round out the area.
