What happened
Continuation with a leadership/faculty change. The archived faculty member, Brigid O'Hanrahan (listed "1982 to present"), retired after teaching metals at Millersville for nearly 30 years (around 2011-2012, per an Art Jewelry Forum profile) and shifted to her own studio practice. The metals program continued and is now led by Becky McDonah, Professor in Fine Art Metals. No closure, merger, or renaming of the program; it remains a live concentration/minor in the Department of Art & Design.
