What happened
Real, accredited independent art college in Philadelphia (women/nonbinary-focused BFA, co-ed grad/continuing ed); thriving, ~490 students Fall 2025, absorbed UArts students after that school's 2024 closure. AICAD school listing cites "Metals/Jewelry/Enameling"; current Fine Arts BFA offers jewelry/metals coursework ("Jewelry Concepts," "Sculpture in Steel") as electives rather than a dedicated metals concentration or degree. No metals/jewelry-specific faculty identifiable on the current Fine Arts faculty roster, so faculty left empty (none invented).
