What happened
Continuation, with a leadership change. The Jewelry Making & Repair program has run continuously and remains one of NBSS's core full-time programs well past 2014. The most notable change since ~2014 is leadership: Tracey Jenkins Darji became Department Head in September 2023 (she had previously studied under longtime instructor Rosemary Trainor, JM '90). The program continues to teach traditional bench skills plus modern techniques (laser welding, wax model making, stone setting, fabrication in gold/platinum/silver).
