What happened
Likely a directory data error: the archived entry's "Northeastern Illinois University" appears to be a confusion with NORTHERN Illinois University (NIU, DeKalb), which is the Illinois public university that actually runs a dedicated metals/jewelry program (Metalwork, Jewelry Design and Digital Fabrication, School of Art and Design). Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU, Chicago) is a separate institution whose current and recent Studio Art curriculum shows no dedicated metals/jewelry concentration, and no record was found of NEIU ever having one or of such a program being closed/merged/renamed.
