What happened
Closed. NAU offered a BFA in Jewelry & Metalsmithing (an Extended Major in the Art department, documented in the 2006 and 2009 catalogs). The program was eliminated and ran its final term in spring 2023, with a final group of six BFA students showing work at the Beasley Gallery (reception April 13, 2023). The current Studio Art BFA catalog lists no jewelry/metals emphasis.
