What happened
Continuation. The metals/jewelry offering remains active as a concentration within the Studio Art B.A./B.F.A. in the Department of Art (housed in ALEX AND ANI Hall). It was not closed, merged out, or renamed away — it is one of eight studio concentrations (Ceramics, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Metalsmithing & Jewelry, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture). The archived faculty member Curtis K. LaFollette ("1972 to present") is no longer the listed point of contact; current departmental leadership is Chair Dianne M. Reilly. LaFollette's specific departure/retirement/death date could not be confirmed from available sources.
