What happened
Continuation. RISD's Jewelry + Metalsmithing program is one of the oldest and most prominent metals/jewelry programs in the US and has continued uninterrupted well past the archived record. The archived faculty roster (Cirino, Prip, Van Duinwyk, Mueller, Quigley) reflects the program's earlier eras; Robin Quigley's tenure has since ended and leadership has passed to a current faculty cohort with Timothy Veske-McMahon listed as department head. The program remains fully accredited and continues to offer BFA, MFA, and Post-Bacc degrees, with active industry partnerships (Tiffany & Co., Platinum Guild International) as of 2025.
