What happened
Archived-record misattribution. The two listed faculty — Louis Mueller (joined RISD 1977 to teach Light Metals; headed RISD Jewelry + Metalsmithing 1977–2003) and Robin Quigley (taught at RISD from 1981, now Department Head Emerita of Jewelry + Metalsmithing) — are both unambiguously Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) faculty, not Roberts Wesleyan. The metals program described in this directory entry is RISD's, which continues to operate. Roberts Wesleyan never had a metals/jewelry program. Since ~2014 Roberts Wesleyan changed its name from College to University (2023) but its visual arts offerings remain general studio art, not metals.
