What happened
Continuation with growth. The metals/jewelry program remains an active studio area within Rowan's Department of Art and has not been closed, merged away, or renamed out of existence. Since ~2014 it has continued under metalsmith faculty Jill Baker Gower (teaching since 2007) and Donna Mason Sweigart, who now also serves as Department Chair. The area has notably expanded its digital/CAD-CAM dimension — Sweigart's specialty is CAD/CAM/rapid prototyping (MFA from Tyler School of Art), and the program is formally framed as "Metals, Jewelry, and Computer Aided Design," directly matching the CAD-CAM scope of the archived directory. Departmental web pages migrated hosts (ccca.rowan.edu → www.rowan.edu/arts) but content persists.
