What happened
Real public community college. SNAG-listed sbcc.edu/art (credit Art dept) does NOT teach metals/jewelry; the jewelry program lives in SBCC's School of Extended Learning "Jewelry Arts Studio" at the Wake Center (300 N. Turnpike Rd). 2025-2026 catalog lists current jewelry/metals courses: Enameling-Glass on Metal, Jewelry Soldering, Lost Wax Casting, metalsmithing, lapidary, Jewelry Workshop. Faculty left empty: sources only cite "community jewelers"; prior instructor Brian Meek relocated to the Bay Area, no current named instructors verifiable.
