Real nonprofit community art center (est. 1972) in Curwood Castle Park, Owosso MI, operating as the Shiawassee Arts Center; celebrating 54th anniversary in 2026, regular gallery/class hours, active website + Square class store. Its About page and tourism listings consistently include jewelry (with drawing, watercolor, pottery, glass fusing) among multi-media classes for adults and children — so it teaches jewelry at the community-class level (no metalsmithing/silversmithing program found). No current jewelry/metals instructors are named on the site, so faculty left empty rather than invented. Confidence medium: jewelry is listed in program copy, but the live class schedule pages did not render current jewelry listings to confirm an active 2025-26 offering.
