What happened
Continuation. The metals/jewelry program has continued uninterrupted since ~2014 and remains active. The old www2.southernct.edu studio-art URL from the archived directory era was superseded by the current www.southernct.edu site, but the program itself was not closed, merged, or renamed — it persists as the Jewelry/Metals concentration in Art and Design. A 2023 university news feature confirmed it as a small but full enrollment program led by chair Terrence Lavin, who has been integrating 3D-printing/contemporary fabrication alongside traditional metalsmithing.
