Now known as
Tarrant County College (TCC) — Art (Visual Arts), "Metals" studio coursework

What happened
The institution was renamed from "Tarrant County Junior College" to "Tarrant County College" (TCC) in 1999, predating the directory record. The archived faculty member, Karmien Bowman, is still teaching at TCC (active TCC email + calendar page; profiled in 2017 and 2021 local press as a long-serving TCC art professor). Metals/jewelry was never a degree program of its own at TCC; it has continued as studio coursework within the Art curriculum and remains listed as an offered art form. No closure found — continuation as studio art with the same long-tenured instructor and a leadership/organization shift only at the institutional naming level. The "N.E." in the record refers to the Northeast Campus (Hurst).
