What happened
Continuation and growth since ~2014. The program remained active and expanded: it built out CAD/CAM and rapid-prototyping capability, received a major 2023/2024 gift from James Avery Artisan Jewelry (30,000+ precious stones/gems), hosted the 2023 Texas Metals Symposium, and posted ongoing student/alumni achievements (2023-2025). Texas Tech also recently advertised an Assistant Professor of Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing position, indicating continued investment and faculty expansion. Robly Glover continues as program head.
