What happened
The program is a continuation, not closed/merged/renamed. The archived directory's faculty (Mary Ann Scherr 1969-1972; Robin Kraft 1992-1994) are historical; the program continued past 2014 and remains active in 2025-2026. Sherry Simms has coordinated the metals/jewelry area since 2001 and is the current program head. The Myers School of Art has continued to be recognized as a top art & design program. No closure or rename detected.
