What happened
The archived listing described a jewelry/metals offering under TCC's "Cultural & Social Services Division" with faculty William Derreuvere (correctly Bill Derrevere) "1971 to present." Since ~2014: (1) TCC reorganized its divisions into Schools; art moved into the School of Visual & Performing Arts and there is no longer a "Cultural & Social Services Division." (2) The longtime metals/jewelry instructor Bill Derrevere — who taught jewelry design, sculpture, and 3-D art at TCC for 45 years (consistent with the archived "1971") — retired roughly 6 years ago (~2019, per his Ghost Ranch bio) and now teaches jewelry/metals at AHHA (Hardesty Arts Center) in Tulsa. (3) The teaching content continued: metal arts/jewelry persists as courses (Metal Arts and Jewelry I & II) within the still-active Art, A.A. degree rather than as a distinct named program. So: continuation of the discipline as courses, division renamed/reorganized, and a leadership/faculty change (founding instructor retired).
