Jewelry & Metalsmithing (within 3D/Sculpture: Studio Art), School of Visual Art and Design

What happened
The metals/jewelry instruction at USC continues to be offered. Since ~2014, the former Department of Art was reorganized into the School of Visual Art and Design (the academic home now listed on USC's bulletins/site). Jewelry and metalsmithing is not a standalone program/department; it is a studio area integrated into the 3D/Sculpture track of the Studio Art degrees. Thomas Bosse (MFA, University of Georgia, 2017) is the current jewelry/metals instructor and has taught at the post-secondary level since 2015, indicating a leadership/faculty change in the area over the past decade. Degrees: B.A. Studio Art, B.F.A. Studio Art (3D/Sculpture concentration including jewelry/metalsmithing), and M.F.A. Studio Art.
