What happened
Renamed from Wichita Center for the Arts to Mark Arts in 2016 (honoring benefactor Mary R. Koch; "Mark" = Mary R. Koch initials), ahead of relocation. A new purpose-built 40,000 sq ft arts-education building at 1307 N. Rock Road, Wichita, opened January 2018. The institution continues operating and still offers metals/jewelry/enameling instruction as of 2026 (e.g., an "Enameling for All Skills" course Jan-Mar 2026). It was never a degree-granting academic program; it is a community art association/school, so the archived directory listing reflects a continuing non-academic institution under a new name.
