What happened
Real nonprofit craft/lapidary retreat school in Young Harris, GA; operates Apr-Oct with live 2026 registration. Beyond lapidary it teaches silversmithing, jewelry making, wax modeling/casting, wire wrapping, beading, and enameling -- so metals/jewelry instruction is offered. Staff are administrators (Exec Dir Kristine Robertson) and a volunteer board (VP Vickie Prillaman, a jeweler); instructors rotate as visiting volunteer artisans, so no fixed current metals faculty are identifiable -- faculty left empty rather than invented.
