# Disclaimer

Proceditaly is a personal field study and an art/design piece, not a scholarly catalogue.
It is offered as-is, with no warranty of any kind.

## Identifications are best-effort
The 3-D scans were named by cross-referencing computer vision on the source frames against
the trip's photo timestamps and itinerary — Apple Object Capture assigns each scan a random,
meaningless codename. Where an identification is uncertain it is marked **"uncertain"** on the
card, and the venue is inferred from the itinerary rather than a label.

Known open question: the *cubi prospettici* marble floor is attributed here to **Sansovino's
Libreria Marciana**, Venice, from on-site observation; that specific attribution has not been
independently re-verified and may instead be another San Marco-area pavement.

## The generators are interpretations
The "generated" forms beside each photograph are procedural **abstractions** that reach for the
same form as the real object — they are not measurements, reconstructions, or claims of how the
real thing was made. The porfido-fan generator is an idealised model of the *ventaglio* paving
pattern, not a survey of the actual street.

## Meshes
Scans are raw Object Capture output — mostly open (not watertight) meshes, decimated and
texture-reduced for the web. They will show holes and artifacts.

Corrections welcome.
