What happened
Continuation. The metalsmithing program at UWL has remained active and operating within the Art Department since ~2014. The studios (fabrication, casting, forging, raising, welding, blacksmithing) remain in use, taught by Prof. Bradley Nichols (metalsmithing/blacksmithing). No closure, merger, or rename found. Department continues offering metalsmithing course sequence. Department chair is currently Kathleen Hawkes.
