Waste
Every single thing is placed precisely where force sent it. Gravity, friction, inertia, acceleration, thrust, drag and torque, sure; but also hatred, incompetence, will, lust, titillation, neglect and misunderstanding. Some of these are coded into things when they are born: iron will combine with oxygen and other elements, eventually wasting into fatigue and failure. It was all there when the Bang cooled — in the moment it was pulled out of the Earth and smelted by our extensions. It remained when the bolt was tightened and it will fail unless energy is expended to maintain it. We are smarter apes, in some ways, than we used to be — we alloy and coat and choose the right metal for the right job. Maybe we will eventually have to live with our mistakes for something that seems eternal to mortals, but few of our things will likely outlive our race. Things are all waste.
