What happened
The program continued without closure or merger. The archived record lists Elliot Pujol ("1973 to present"), who built and long led the K-State metals program; he has since retired and is now Professor Emeritus (his work was acquired by Sweden's Nationalmuseum, noted in K-State announcements). Leadership of the metalsmithing/jewelry area passed to Dukno Yoon (Associate Professor, Area Coordinator), with Heather Bayless as instructor. The program remains a current concentration within the Department of Art's Studio Art BFA and continues to offer the MFA.
