CC1 is the T-top option — twin removable smoke-tinted glass panels above the front seats with a fixed central beam between them. Hurst supplied the T-top body until the late 1980s; Glas-Lock was the later supplier on the same RPO. Storage trays inside the rear hatch hold the panels when removed.
The cars carry the T-top conversion at the cowl and rear belt-line; an unmodified solid-roof car has cleaner roof seams. T-top cars often develop water leaks at the seal — a common discussion thread on thirdgen.org and the various Trans Am communities.
