The Shaker is the E-body's signature ram-air option for 1970 — a hood-mounted, body-color air-cleaner assembly that protrudes through a clearance hole in the hood. The air cleaner is bolted directly to the engine, not the hood, so it visibly vibrates with the engine at idle and bucks under throttle. Hence the name.
Available on AAR 'Cuda and T/A Challenger small-blocks, on V-code Six-Pack big-blocks, and on Hemi cars. Not available on B-body — the Shaker is E-body only.
