Air Grabber is the Plymouth name for the 1970 ram-air hood with a driver-actuated trap door. A console-mounted toggle (or under-dash on cars without console) opens a vacuum servo, lifting the hood scoop's center panel to expose a forward-facing duct. The duct's underside carries painted shark-teeth graphics — visible only when the scoop is open. Broadcast/fender-tag callout: N96.
Dodge B-body cars with the equivalent ram-air option used a different scoop assembly with the same N96 code and similar vacuum-trap-door operation — but without the shark teeth. The Plymouth treatment is the famous one. The teeth are not on Phil's Dodge.
